1. Information We Collect

• Login Details – name, email address, and profile picture retrieved from your Google account (or future login providers).
• Journal Input Data – data you enter and choose to share: symptoms, events, sticker mappings, and related entries.
• User Preferences – app settings like notification frequency, sharing toggles, units, and appearance.

2. Storage & Backup

Data may be stored locally on your device to support app functionality. If you enable backup, portions of your data and settings are stored in cloud services you authorize (e.g., Google Drive). Yarriva does not maintain a central database of your personal journal data.

3. Data Sharing & Processing

By default, your data remains private. If you enable a sharing toggle in settings, only the selected data is transmitted once for AI processing (via Make.com → OpenAI or similar services). Yarriva does not retain or share copies of your data beyond that processing request.

4. Usage of Your Data

We use your data solely to provide app functions: journal display, reminders, AI-based insights, and syncing/backup. We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or sale to third parties not consented by you.

5. Permissions & Integrations

To operate correctly, BodyTune may request access to:
• Internet for login, backup, and AI processing.
• Notifications for reminders.
• Cloud storage / Google Drive (or future cloud) and calendar integrations, if you authorize backing up or syncing journal entries.

6. User Controls

• You may toggle data sharing on or off anytime.
• You may log out at any time.
• Deleting the app removes local data. We do not guarantee deletion from your private account of your cloud backups.
• If backed-up data exists on your cloud account or calendar, you are responsible for deletion via those services.

7. Security

Yarriva employs standard security measures to protect your data. However, when data is processed by third-party AI services, those services are responsible for their use of your data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. The “Effective date” at the top will reflect changes. Significant changes will be announced through the app or via our site.
